The Desert Wind Coven is a traditional yet evolving Wiccan circle rooted in decades of sacred practice. Founded in the High Desert of Southern Idaho in the 1980s, our coven now flourishes in Northern Utah, where we continue to honor the turning of the Wheel, the wisdom of the Earth, and the deep currents of magick that flow through all things.

Our practice draws broadly from the Wiccan traditions, including adaptations from Gardnerian rites, while embracing a more inclusive and eclectic approach that honors personal gnosis, ethical magick, and the balance of the divine feminine and masculine. As a coven, we place great value on study, self-responsibility, and reverent ritual.

We offer seekers a structured Wicca 101 course built on decades of experience and grounded in both modern witchcraft and timeless spiritual truths. Through eight in-depth modules, guided journaling, reflection, and ritual practice, seekers are empowered to walk the path of the Witch with authenticity and confidence. Our students receive mentorship, take part in seasonal rites, and may eventually be considered for initiation.

The Desert Wind Coven is currently led by High Priest, Gray Seal, who has devoted his life to fostering accessible and ethical witchcraft education. Under his guidance, we maintain a deep respect for both tradition and transformation, always walking forward with the wind at our backs and wisdom in our hearts.

Whether you are a solitary practitioner seeking connection, a newcomer to the Craft, or a longtime student of magick, you are welcome to walk with us for a while.
